Horror Hotels And Other Creepy Film Locations
All these locations have one thing in common; they are the main settings in famous horror movies. I don’t know about you but I think these destinations are unique in their own right, so even if you are not a horror film fan like me you could still visit and take in their character and charm.
Some of these places even have their own ghostly goings on and were well know before they were used in these iconic films.
I personally would jump at the chance of visiting or holidaying at these locations as I’m an avid viewer of all these paranormal shows on TV at the moment, whether or not I would be able to get to sleep in these places would be another thing altogether…
1. The Shining (1980)
The Stanley Hotel, Estes Park, Colorado
“Jack Torrance” played by Jack Nicholson in the movie.

Think he might be a bit mental… yep he’s lost his marbles!!!
2. Amityville (1979)

Oooohhh that’s very creepy, scared now and in may 2010 it was up for sale! I would buy it… if I could only get my hands on $1.5million. Dream on…
3. Psycho (1960)

Personally I love a man that dresses up as his mother and argues with himself… What a nut job!!!
4. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)

Love this film and true story, it creeps me out big style as it could happen… and it did!!
5. The Exorcist (1973)

10. The Mothman Prophecies (2002)

Strange demon owl things that predict catastrophic disasters… don’t know whether I would want to know and the whole Mothman creature just scares me silly, is it a demon or an alien?
